This unique seal design was developed from the original CQ-Seal. Its enlarged cap allows it to be centrally positioned in the groove for a X-Ring seal. The seal has the excellent leakage control of an elastomer contact seal, but at the same time, a very low friction and long service life. This is because the X-Ring seal is energized by the squeeze and not by system pressure. Specially designed to separate fluids and gases in dynamic applications.
